It is as true as you imagine. Weather is a central issue in British lives.  So important indeed that more than once I will talk about the weather, sometimes in scientific terms, sometimes in the way you talk to your neighbour. Today I only want to share the joy of having a full bright sun in the sky.

I understand very well now why Britain is a country of weather-talkers, after nearly 6 months living in the darkness with occasional light spots, a sort of summer has arrived. We all were expecting more than one day like today’s

People is more smiley, more alive and more full of light in their looks…happier I’d dare to say. The crisis, credit crunch and recession are less important now. Something similar to the feeling the Spanish had when we won the Eurocup…nothing else is more improtant than that. The inmense pleasure of wearing shorts…

We have been brave enough to swim in South and North beaches, and we have even done some snorkelling (mi chinito con neopreno =). The water temp. is today 15.5º and the outside temp. is -hold your hands with emotion- nearly 26º! Incredible but true. Today is summer in Aberystwyth.

We share these pics  with you (very fast uploaded, excuse me the format) and for those around…let’s go to the beach!.

I hope you enjoy your weather wherever you are…
